BitchTapes: Dilly Dally Takeover

Alt-rock band Dilly Dally knows its way around a powerful song. So when tapped to create a playlist to blast us into the weekend, frontwoman Katie Monks had this to say:

I naturally gravitate toward music that’s empowering. The genre doesn’t really matter to me so long as the message gives me hope for equality and shit. This playlist is mostly all friends, so it’s pretty close to my heart. My whole world is like badass punks, sexy divas, fierce activists, and queer fam. Plus, I haven’t met her yet but I just had to include Young M.A. …’cause shit just got real.
