Every week, we share new music from female-fronted bands.
This week, we’re debuting the first EP from Brooklyn-based electropop duo Fever High. Guitarist/singer Anna Nordeen and singer/songwriter Reni Lane put together the four-track EP, All Work, which is full of sparkly analog synth sounds and drum beats that’ll make you dance in your desk chair. The lyrics of title track “All Work” speak to the super-upbeat vibe of the album: “The world won’t end /If now and then / We get a little out of our heads / All work, no play, that’s no why to live / You’ve got to live for the day.”
“All Work is about breaking away from the daily grind and living in the moment, living for today,” says Anna Nordeen. “Its about having a clear intention and being honest with what you really want. We often times get lost in the every day shuffle of work and chores. This collection of tunes is here to remind you to have a little fun in between!”
The self-released EP is produced by Fountains of Wayne member Adam Schlesinger and comes out today. Stream it below!
