Belle Starr Mug

Born in Missouri, Belle’s life of crime began in 1880, when she married Sam Starr. Together they led a gang of horse thieves and bootleggers. Famous for both her crack shot and for her style, she was called the “Petticoat Terror of the Plains.” She and Sam were eventually jailed in 1883, and in 1889 Belle was shot and killed by an unknown assailant.

This mug was illustrated by Bitch Media cofounder Andi Zeisler.
