Sexual harassment/Rape

Of course David Letterman needed to apologize. He was in a position of power (could fire those women) and used it to get sex. The agency of the women's is important, but really, how much agency can you have when your boss solicits you for sex? I have some experience with this. It is usually best to leave before things gets too difficult for you after refusing a boss's sexual advances. I am of an age with DL. Perhaps younger feminists don't see this as a straight up case of harassment, I don't understand why. Do we know how many women who refused him are still employed by him?
Roman Polanski is not only a rapist, he is a pedophile rapist.
I have heard about Mad Men. I haven't been able to watch it because it hits too close to home. I started working in the early seventies as a chemist, while still in college. There were no harassment laws. One salesman would not leave me alone until I threatened to throw concentrated sulfuric acid at him (only ~ 150ml). If he stripped out out of that three piece suit and underwear fast enough, he would have hardly been burned at all, but I would have lost my job and maybe been arrested. At that point I was so sick of the harassment and management's lack of dealing with it, I didn't care. I was lucky he backed down.
Oh, and Whoppi Goldberg is a rape apologist.
