Excellent podcast! I really

Excellent podcast! I really wish I lived in Portland so I could check out Bitch's copy with the notes. This sounds like quite a fascinating book. I think the book is a reflection of the way society has this romantic, nostalgic memory for some mythical, magical time that has never really existed in history. I highly recommend Stephanie Coontz's book The Way We Never Were if you want to further explore that topic.
