I feel like I’ve hit the music jackpot in the past month. There have been four great albums released over the last few weeks from bands that I never listened to that much before—Oh Land, Say Lou Lou, Ibeyi, and THEESatisfaction. I’ve been listening to those four bands’ new albums on a constant loop and want to tell everyone how great they are. This mixtape is my chance to shout their praises from the rooftops.
This mix is mostly new releases in 2014 and 2015, but I added in some older songs, too, just to match the mood. It’s beat-driven ethereal pop that’ll make you dance in your office chair. Enjoy.
