Wrapping up a week of sun, fun, and rocking out, here’s another compilation of just a handful of performers at this year’s SXSW music festival! Stay tuned for more music, film, and interactive coverage, and thanks to Austin locals Sara Reihani and Alyx Vesey for their great recommendations!

Track list after the jump!

1. Akina Adderley & the Vintage Playboys - The Way to Love Me
This Austin band headed by Akina Adderley’s powerful vocals brings soul back in a big way.

2. Frazey Ford - Blue Streak Mama
Formerly of the Be Good Tanyas, Frazey Ford is striking out on her own with her first solo album.

3. Go Chic - Culture Supervisor
Do NOT miss Taiwan’s Go Chic if they come to your town! With tight beats and a frontwoman who won’t take “No dancing” as an answer, their energy will have your body moving and your face melting all at once.

4. The White Eyes - Kiss Your Eyes
Also from Taiwan, the White Eyes mix psychedelia and punk for a powerful sound and a killer live show.

5. The Sandwitches - Lightfoot
There was no question I would dig the music of a band with this name. If you enjoy pleasant, pared-down surf rock, you will too!

6. Tamar-Kali - Pearl
Catch this Brooklyn rocker and her band on tour with Invincible and Jean Grae this year!

7. Andreya Triana - Up in Fire
This young, London-born singer has a sound that’s part trip-hop and part neo-soul, but ultimately completely unique and mesmerizing.

8. Those Darlins - Screws Get Loose
This four-piece from Murfreesboro, Tennesse will twang its way into your heart in no time.

9. Grass Widow - Fried Egg
If you haven’t checked out the blended harmonies sung and fuzzy guitar of Grass Widow yet, get on it!

10. Wonfu - Do Re Mi
I’m surprised there isn’t a Cartoon Network show that hasn’t enlisted this entirely charming, sunny Taiwanese four-piece to do their theme song. They were a complete pleasure to see live and I want to be BFFs with all of them.

11. La Sera - Devil’s Heart Grows Gold
Vivian Girls’ Katy Goodman lays out a less fuzzy, more melodic sound as La Sera. Get ready for cheery head bobbing!

12. If By Yes - You Feel Right
This newly-formed band includes Cibo Matta vocalist Yuka Honda backed by a stellar group of other indie musicians. Their debut album comes out in just a few days!
