Cameron Esposito Explains Why Supporting Reproductive Rights Makes Sense for Everyone

Planned Parenthood has been facing a lot of silly attacks recently. So it’s nice to hear comedian Cameron Esposito sum up the common sense of why supporting the nation’s largest reproductive healthcare provider just makes common sense. 

In this new video, Esposito explains that making birth control accessible, keeping abortions legal, and supporting basic sex ed makes the world better for everyone—it shouldn’t be a political or religious issue. 

“Women deserve access to abortion services. We fucking do, because we’re not incubators. If we don’t, then guys should have to have a baby every time we get pregnant… But if you want us to work and if you want it to be possible for relationships to end and if you want to have sex that feels good, then you should be on the side of contraception, the side of women knowing about their bodies, the side of sex education in schools. This is how we all live better lives.”
