• Feminist cultural critic Anita Sarkeesian continues to face escalating violent threats: someone threatened to “massacre” her and the crowd at a talk planned at Utah State University. [New York Times]  

• The Supreme Court is allowing a dozen abortion clinics in Texas to reopen, blocking the state law that imposed strict restrictions on the clinics. [Feministing] 

• When parents are deported from the United States, they leave behind American-born children who now have to deal with their parents absence. [Guardian] 

• Rather than making their workplaces more flexible for families, Facebook and Apple are offering to pay for freezing female employees’ eggs. [Role Reboot] 

• New HBO documentary Private Violence tells the stories of two women who are survivors of domestic violence. [HBO] 

• Check out the Kickstarter for a new film called Sista in the Brotherhood about a black woman dealing with discrimination in her work as a tradeswoman. [Kickstarter]
