• Last Friday’s school shooting in Washington was the 39th school shooting this year. What’s different about the US and Europe that creates so many school shootings here? [Sociological Images] 

• Spike Lee directed a short documentary (sponsored by Chevrolet) about Little Leaguer Mo’ne Davis. Maya at Feministing said it best, “As much as I hate being moved by a video that is ultimately a Chevrolet ad, they totally got me.” [Feministing]
