Watch Samantha Bee Kick Ass in the Name of Choice at the Republic National Convention

Having a hard time wrapping your mind around the shitshow that is the Republican National Convention? Us too. That’s why we appreciate the intrepid reporting of The Daily Show’s Samantha Bee, who took on the brave task of asking RNC delegates how they really feel about Romney’s stance on abortion, which includes exceptions if the life of the mother is threatened.

At the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Samantha Bee learns that government is meant to protect the individual liberties of everyone lacking a uterus. Transcript available here. Exposing the unbelievable hypocrisy of these delegates’ love of individual liberties and desire to restrict a woman’s right to choose abortion can’t have been an easy job, but we’re glad Bee was willing to do it!

My Uterus thanks you :)

A heartfelt thanks to Samantha Bee from my uterus :)
That was very brave but they made it too darn easy!

Bee An Ass in name of choice

real mature ... persuaded me big time

Oh please

She was perfectly polite. She let the attendees say what they believe - that the Republican Party supports personal choice and individual lliberty - and then she brought them around to the truth, which is that they don't REALLY support choice and liberty for everyone.

Republicans are so clueless

Republicans are so clueless and their powers that be take advantage of that.

it's not a comment to the story on Bitch mag, although I love the publication, but I listen to the audio book of Sam Bee and laugh over and over. Being a fellow Canadian working in the US, I feel comforted by the truth of growing up in the canadian locale, while enjoying the adulthood of character that makes me remember that her, and I, have a black belt in "keeping' it real" Love you, Sam. Please keep sharing your stupid shit.
