Amy Berkowitz is a writer living in San Francisco. Her first book, Tender Points (Timeless, Infinite Light, 2015), is a longform lyric essay about chronic pain and trauma. Her writing on chronic illness, sexism in medicine, rape culture, and other topics has been published in McSweeney’s, Ladygunn, and Wolfman New Life Quarterly.
