Donna Marbury has more than 15 years of experience in journalism, public relations, social media and communications strategy. She began her professional writing career in 2003 as a reporter and has held various communication and public relations positions in public and private sectors.

One of Donna’s passions is creative inspiration and writing workshops. Since 2017, she has facilitated Writing For Wellness workshops to help people use journaling as a self care practice. She also hosts a meetup group called Grammar + Chill, to help writers from all genres connect and network.

Donna has a master’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, where she received the Bernard Gordon Entrepreneurial Award, and a bachelor’s degree in English and professional writing from Wright State University.
