A Los Angeles native raised in Hollywood's Little Armenia/Thai Town hood, Gabriela is daughter of med school drop-outs from Argentina. She had an allergic reaction to high school, instead educating herself through zines, tunes and a full-time job, and eventually staggering over to college.

A rising senior philosophy major at Whitman College, she latched onto journalism after discovering it's the most forceful and fun means of getting people to pay attention. If she didn't dig social justice so much, she'd aspire to write for The Onion.
