Izzie Ramirez is a freelance climate, culture and activism reporter. She recently graduated from NYU and wrote two senior theses on climate adaptation. She’s written for Vice, Salon, Greatist, Healthine and other publications. She loves writing about bureaucratic mishaps, food and books, too. Izzie plans on attending Columbia University in the fall.
