Sharine’s combined passions for writing, media creating and curating has made her a credible source for pop culture commentary and criticism, and a trusted voice for the latest in Jamaican music and culture.

She currently holds a seat as a juror for the 2019 Polaris Music Prize, was a panelist for the 2019 SOCAN Songwriting Prize and has been a FACTOR juror since 2018.

Her breadth of knowledge has given her opportunities to be a featured panelist at the Art Gallery of Ontario, a moderator for Nuit Blanche, a guest on CBC’s The Current amongst other opportunities to speak about Black, Jamaican and/or Caribbean cultural production.
