Soleil can write the hell out of an essay on obscure pop culture, but she often has difficulty with autobiographical blurbs. You could probably come up with a reasonable estimate of her personality if you threw Sailor Moon and Kenny Shopsin into a blender. She cofounded the Racist Sandwich, a podcast on food and its intersections with race, class, and gender; and Quaint Magazine, a trans-inclusive literary journal for women and nonbinary writers. Her writing has appeared in GQ, BITCH, The Atlas Review, Weird Sister, Interrupt Mag, and other fine venues.
